"ALL ACCESS PLAYGROUND IS A FIRST" - The Mississauga News, June 10, 2001
A new playground that will allow physically disabled children to play alongside other youngsters may become a blueprint for other facilities across the city. Described by City of Mississauga officials as a "First In Canada" - the Zonta Accessible Playground named for the local women's service group and located in Zonta Meadows Park on Rathburn Rd. “Erinoak Kids at ZAP. In June 2013 and 2014, students and staff from Erinoak Kids spent a morning enjoying the lovely playground – the perfect place for children with special needs.” As feedback, Erinoaks staff did write to us requesting that ‘washrooms  and some shelter from the elements be provided at the Zonta Meadows Park so more children – as well as their parents and grandparents can stay longer and use it for more months of the year.’
